I sold an expensive item to a foreigner who asked for shipping with no insurance to escape his country's import tax. He said he would accept all responsibility should anything go wrong with the shipping, and that he would not have any dispute under any circumstances. "No disputes" was written on the Paypal invoice. He paid and so i shipped under these terms. The tracking shows the package into the foreign country and right up to his residence when it went lost. Against his absolute word he filed a dispute with Paypal and they refunded $7000 to him. Apparently their computers jump in and do this automatically. They are now using legal services to come after me for the money. This now appears to be a scam that I protected myself against but that Paypal fell for and that they are trying to dump on me. This is wrong! Paypal is a large anonymous internet bully company taking advantage of their honest customers!!!
