Grimsby Chrysle
Consumer Report

I went to the Chryler dealership in Grimsby (not recommended to ANYONE!) to have a leak in my vehicle fixed. It was coming from the windshield. I was hoping it could be resolved easily. They warned me that they may break the windshield trying to fix it, I said okay, please try to avoid this. But of course, they break it (why wouldnt they, it pays to break it), and now I must pay to fix it. I was unhappy but I payed. Less than a week later, and $600 later, my jeep was still leaking. I called them and got pretty frustrated on the phone, at this point Chris Burges from service, whom I have dealt with for years said to bring it in and and that they would take care of me, as I clearly told him i dont want to spend another penny trying to fix this when you already guaranteed it was fixed? When i brough it in, they claimed that they have now fixed it and would not give me my vehicle back until i gave them another $200? But shouldnt their work have been guaranteed? Isnt $800 a little excessive to fix a leak? On top of this, they noticed my seatbelt was broken and were looking into that. They chagred my $40 to look at my seatbelt and when yhey offered me the part at a ridiculous price of $240, i told them no thank you, but still got charged $40 just for them looking at my seatbelt? Are you serious? I guess they really dont care about the safety of their vehicles. Laslty, I paid them and took my vehicle. A week later, my jeep still has water coming into it? I am not sure what to do at this point and feel very cheated by the dealership. The manager in service (Randy) has been very rude to me, and now wont return my calls regarding these leaks. I dont feel like I am being unreasonable and I dont think these are good business practices. I am filing this complaint late because they had told me it just takes time to dry, so I have been waiting for that but it just continues to stay wet and get more wet even after I hand dried it. You would think they might dry up the water after fixing a leak, but after dealing with them you would know not to expect too much out of them, so I was not surprised. I cant help but think, if I was not a 22 year old man (a 50 year old man per say instead), would they still treat me this way? Please help if possible!
