I was trying to get a loan from cash advance america. Was told to put $125 on a green dot prepaid card. So I did. When I called back they said it would be an hr and the funds would be in my account. After 2 hrs I called back they then gave me a number from the same state claiming it was the IRS and I owed $250 in taxes. I found this very disturbing. When I told them I no longer wanted the loan they refused to give me money back saying my loan was on hold for a week and they couldn't return any money until Friday May 31st. What a scam!!! Very unhappy with this. I just wanted a loan to fix my car so I could get to a funeral with my family.
