I was called at work Feb. 20. The sales person told me they only invite vetted professionals to their listing, complimented me on my professional accolades, touted how exclusive membership was and how it would open worldwide networking opportunities. I bought the minimum 3 year membership for $408.00. A few weeks later a sales person called to tell me my 'acrylic plaque' was ready and they would send it for $199. I told them NO, I did not order or want a plaque. Every few weeks a sales person would call and bother me. On March 19 my credit card was charged $199. When I called to complain they insisted it was the 2nd payment for the original membership and I had agreed to it. I took careful notes during the initial call and this simply was not true. The quoted total was $408.95. I stupidly assumed it was my mistake, a loss on my part. I told them to remove me from their call list and to cancel my membership. They said it was too late for any refund. On May 20 I was emailed an invoice for an additional charge of $199 to my credit card for something called a 'Media Kit.' I did not authorize this charge. I called and chewed them out, really angry by this time and demanded a refund, which I got. Today I sent them an email revoking authorization of my credit card and promise to report them to the Better Business Bureau. Do NOT do business with this company.
