April 26th - I contacted worldwidebookings to pursue some jobs in the adult industry as advertised in the newspaper at (44 2081669818) and spoke with Amy and was given brief information by her and was asked to pay £300 for 6 months membership and that I will get a profile and will begin performance in adult movies within a Week. I obliged under the impression that this was the only amount needed to begin work in movies.
There conversations between Amy and I for 4 days until the profile was setup. I informed her that I will be in Paris from 30th April to 5 April and she stated that I would be able to work in Paris while there as they do bookings internationally.
1st May - I was contacted by Rita who stated that I would need to pay £200 to be on the "International Package" to work on the upcoming movie in Paris as its an international booking and the minute I paid I would be called to go on location to do the shoot and "earn my money back". I received no call from bookings or anyone else from Worldwidebookings.
6th May - I retuned to london in the morning and I received a call from Rita again who apologized that no one called but said that there is a box-set available and she "really wants me to be on the box-set and make £2500" and the only way to be a part of that booking was to go on a higher membership level as the shooting pays alot. After continuous insisting and guarantees from Rita that the box-set is going ahead and this is the "last payment" that needs to be made, I obliged and paid £300. I never got a call from back her and I was continuously told by the operator that "she is downstairs and booking and will call you back". Finally I managed to get a hold of Kate from Worldwide bookings and complained to her on how I was being given "a run around." Kate assured me that she will take care of the situation. No one called me for the box-set shooting from bookings and Rita didn't get in touch with me either.
7th May - Kate contacted me apologizing on everyone's behalf and saying that Rita made a mistake and Rita couldn't authorize the box-set for £800 pounds as the membership for such shooting requires £1,500. Kate said again asked that I pay only another £400 and that she has got me a discount for all my troubles. I paid the £400 and she called after a little while and told me they are processing the payment and I have no need to worry and bookings will call me to go on my shoot at 6pm in the evening. I made calls every hour bween 1pm and 4pm and was told she is on the line and will get back to me. I never got a call from anyone.
8th May - I was unable to get a hold of Rita or Kate as they were either in meetings or on a conference call or on the other line and after being told many times they would call me back they didn`t.in the afternoon I received a call from Margaret in Finance who stated that I cannot get on the booking thats why no one called me and said I am short of £400 to get on to the membership level Kate was talking about-even though Kate guaranteed that £300 is all I must pay. Maragaret stated that she is merely doing her job and that I cannot go on bookings and she sympathizes with me on how I am being treated but said she will get it resolved. I paid the £400 in the hopes I would finally go on the bookings. I never received a call back from her after I provided western union details. After continuous calling I was put in touch with Daphne. She said she was the manager that I couldn't go on the booking as I had not paid for insurance. This was the first time I was mentioned to about insurance. She said no one can get onto a booking without paying insurance. I was very desperate at this point and again I went and paid £300 for the insurance which was "a must bookings were waiting" and will pass on to me the shoot location details once I paid and I need not worry as this is a guaranteed booking and I will make my money back. I had already told Dafne that I was in a desperate situation and she said she would take care of the situation and speak to her employees about my situation as "we are a professional company and this has never happened before, you have had bad luck". I never got a call from anyone for my booking even though she said I've paid everything and am ready to go.
9th May - Gina answered the phone and offered to help me with my situation and said the box-set was delayed and thats why I didnt get a call. She would be able to get me onto a production taking place in the evening but was not able to use the entire £1800 towards this particular booking in the evening but only £200 and would would require another £800. This made no sense to me and I did not agree to this but was told that I can get a £400 discount for all the troubles I have been having and would require to pay £400 only as this is "production that must take place at all cost" as a male model had cancelled and the "studio would be angry with them if the production doesn't happen". After being given the run around I insisted that I must speak with Daphne before making anymore payments. I got a call from her and she was rude and stated that its not her fault productions was delayed for the box-set and that the bookings people are waiting on me to pay the £400 and she got me the £400 discount so I can start working tonight and make my money back. I obliged and payed £400. I never got a call from anyone after that.
10th May - Maraget gave me a call in the morning stating that I am £400 short thats why booking didnt call me even though Dapne assured me of the discount. She said that there is another production but the membership level is £3000 but she can transfer the £2200 I already paid towards this "guaranteed booking" "which is different and I will not have the same problem, again" and this production will pay £5500 per shoot and I am guaranteed for 6 months. She said she will give me a discount for my troubles of £550. I rushed to western union to pay £250 after margerat gave me her word that I am going to tonight booking. (I am sure you see the pattern by now)
To add insult to injury, I got a call from Tanya in bookings asking for more money. Tanya said that bookings is waiting on me and Margaret cannot give more than a £300 discount thus I need to make the payment of £250 quick as I "need to go out for the production tonight". I was soo desperate I borrowed £250 from my friend" and went to western union to pay. I called after an hour and the operator said that she was told that Margaret or Tanya will call me back.
11th May - I receive a call from Daphne who said she doesn't know why the booking she guaranteed me didnt go through from last week but the booking on 10th of May didnt go through because the £300 from insurance cannot be put towards the movie production and I need to pay £300 to be called for a booking and she will personally ensure that she will get me on a booking even if she has to work till late. Guess what, no one called me after I went again to western union and paid.
13th May - Daphne called me after i left many messages with the operator. She stated the production had been delayed "due to safety issues at the location" and that she will try and find me something else.
Today is 17th may, I tried calling them but I was told not to worry about the operator and they will try and get me onto a booking.
Throughout this period of dealing with Worldwide bookings all I asked for was a simple booking but was constantly given different information, conflicting stories, no call backs and constant request for more money. I continuously explained to each staff member that I spoke with that I am in a very bad situation as I have paid alot of money and I am in alot of debt now and must get atleast one booking.
I have made 10 different payments in the following installments at the request of 7 different people at worldwide bookings since April 26.
Daphne said they cannot provide a refund and even though the productions have been delayed they will try and fit me into something else. Although on the website privacy policy it states they will consider refunds in special circumstances, Daphne said she will not refund me. This is not "Bad luck" as Daphne states, but Fraud.
