I am absolutely DISGUSTED having been charged $73.49 USD in an attempt to make a quick phonecall to Australia from a Hilo Shopping Centre after an issue with an Visa Debit Card. The first attempt to connect failed costing me $28.48 USD) and the second attempt to connect to an Australian 'freecall' number was nothing short of disgusting! (Costing $45.01 USD) Being sent round in circles by the phone company requesting that I press this number and that number before eventually being connected to my requested number. The handset had extremely poor audio sound which only added to an already frustrating telephone experience. This public telephone box was the only option to be found in the shopping centre and you had no option but to insert a credit card as the phone would not accept coins. This deliberate action and set up by this phone company is nothing short of defrauding the general public and a total rip off - it is beyond comprehension and has left a very SOUR and FOWL taste in ones mouth. Shame, shame, shame.
