Back in feb. Due to illness i forgot to pay my gas bill and my service was disconnected, as soon as i realized it was off i made the full payment, since then the gas company has been sending me really high bills. I inquired to find out why my bill is so high, there response is because of the plan i am on. I have never asked to be on any type of plan nor was i told that i would on any type of plan, they are saying that when your service is cut off they take among themselves to change you to a plan, and now my bill is much higher than it should be. I am charged 1.69 per. Therm and the only thing using gas is my hot water heater, my bill just for that is 180.00. Can they make changes on bill without my knowledge?
