I responded to an internet ad and decided to try their free trial. Shipping and handling was $5.95, and automatic shipments for $80 would come monthly if not cancelled within the 15 day trial period.
When I attempted to cancel by phone after 7 days, I was told that I needed to call back in 24 hours because their computer system was down.
I called back the next day and was "grilled" by the representative (most likely from India) about my reasons for cancelling. He yelled at me and cut me off when I was speaking. He told me that if I wasn't more specific about my reasons, I would be charged another $60. When I asked to speak to his supervisor, he hung up on me.
I did receive a cancellation confirmation email, but I do not trust this company at all. I immediately contacted my bank and had a new card issued.
Beware of this company! The product quality was similar to others on the market, but I wonder just how many people they are scamming with the "trial offer".
