I received a friend request on facebook on 3-13-13 and from then on I thought I was communicating with an army person in Kabul. We wrote back and forth for awhile and things started to get personal and we began to make plans for when he would retire and come back to the states. He said he had a little girl named Courtney and he was a single father and would I be her mom. I said yes to all of this. Then he wrote that some of his team members at camp had been kidnapped by the Taliban and some of his team were going on a recue mission to get them. A few days later he wrote again and said that they were back and all went well but he had been shot in the left leg so was not coming back as soon. Then he sent a message that his team had received a reward for their mission as they had found much money for the country of Afghanistan. He said his share was $850.000 us dallors and he could not keep it at camp as they could not use money there. I asked if I could help and he said he would send the money in a box to me. I started to wonder about all of this but I thought I had met the man of my dreams. I then started to get messages from Dr. Philip Richards from Icanex Delivery Service as to how much to send money for the box by Western Union. I checked to see if this company was real and it was so I thought it was ok. I sent the amount that the WU person told me here. Then I got a new message saying it was not all of it and they needed more. So I again sent more and was then told that I needed to get it back and then to resend it to a new person. Again Perkins told me to follow what they wanted as the box was very valuable and he would pay for everything when he got here. So I went back to the WU and did what they wanted.in the last few days the delivery company told me they needed another $2,500.00 in order to continue and that was when I finally knew that the company may be scamming me. When I contacted Perkins he acted like this was all a surprise to him and he was upset but told me I should still follow the rquest of the company. I told him I did not have that money so he wanted me to borrow it from someone. He had told me afew days earlier that his team was waiting for the plane to come to pick them up. He had also sent me a picture of the ring he had gotten for me. When I asked him to send me the money to me when his plane got to the states his story changed and then I knew he had been scamming me. He then stated that he was in the camp and he could not leave as the Taliban was waiting for them so he could do nothing to help. As I started looking at scams on line I came across the pictures he had sent me. He also goes by David or Ray Perkins. I have all of his e-mails and all of the paperwork and messages from Dr. Richards too. I sent him a message last night and acted as if everything was ok and I was trying to get the money but have not heard anything form him yet. I hope this will help you and please contact me.
