I received a month charge of $9.99 on my Verizon bill this month for the service. I have never requested it and know it is a scam. When I called Verizon, all they could do is block the 24627 code.
I researched the internet for Bid and Win's Terms & Conditions and found the following to cancel the subscription.
"you may cancel service and request a full refund of all charges, by calling 1 800 235
7105."
When you call an automated message asks for the phone number that is being charged. After you input the number, it is repeated and stated that the charge will not occur again. I won't know for sure if it works until my next billing period.
