Received this email a while back;
"Hello, How are you doing?
Got your email on the Needy website about you needing some help. So I was wondering if you still need the help and How much exactly you need to get back on your feet? I would be glad to help."
I wasn't sure who it was or what it was regarding so I kept emailing them for more information. I assumed it was someone I knew as this scammer checked out my profile on facebook and linkedin.
Next thing I know I had the bank call me saying I withdrew $4,851 which is the exact amount I put in an email to this person. This amount is not of any significance, just a number I pulled out of the air. I didn't sent him my bank details or anything. The guy must of done his research and made a few calls to all the banks.
Just don't respond to anyone with that message. I hope my lost can assist others.
