Had to make a quick call from a pay phone in Oshawa to locate a friend in the area (on a Toronto cell number). Since it was a "long distance" call, the phone would not accept cash - only credit cards. Amazed to see that my credit card bill reflected a charge of CAD 11.49 for a phone call of less than 1 minute... But now it seems clear that this has happened to many people.
I have emailed WiMacTel to request an explanation of the excessive charge.
