Thanks to everyone who has reported dealings with this company. I, too, have received the infamous $1899.95 check. So my questions are: 1. If I deposit it in my bank account, let it sit for 20-30 days and nothing happens, will it clear? ; 2. If I deposit it in my bank account, will DealMart get the cancelled check back with my account number on the back as a part of the clearing process? (and in that case, I'm assuming that DealMart can then use my account number for very devious things). What do you think?
