Our non-profit (school related parent-teacher group) received a notification from this company. They made it look like it was from the State of California. We almost sent it out with the names and contact information of the officers. Luckily, we read the form a little more carefully and realized they were in no way affiliated with the State of California. We almost lost $225! They freak you out by saying the non-profit could be fined and could lose status, etc.
This makes me so mad. A lot of time and worry (and almost money and addresses of officers) went into researching this.
