I ran an ad on Craigs List for a diamond ring about 3 weeks ago. I recieved an e mail from what seemed to be an interested party, on Sunday April 14. She seemed very interested, asked pertinent questions about the ring. I was then asked to use paypal since its reputable and this person seemed cautious, trustworthy. I was given the name and address were to deliver. I set up a PayPal account and proceed to ship over night through FedEx on Friday April 19. I insured the ring in case it got lost plus shipped overnight, costing me $138.20. I got a phone call from where I had it shipped saying it was delivered and signed for. Still hearing nothing from PayPal! Waited till noon on Monday to fear the worst, checking confirmation from PayPal every hr, proceeding to realize I have been scammed!
