Feb I was offered a yellow page ad, free for 2 months and I could before 2 months. If I wished to continue I would then pay. For the ad. It was not mentioned if it was to be online or in a phone book. I agreed to the free trial. The 2 months elapsed and received two phone calls that I owe $840, which I declined to pay.
I died accept the terms and the original conversation was recorded without my knowledge. After the original call when I consented to the 2 mos trial I received no confirmation. I did not have the company's phone number or location and could not call or write or mail in order to cancel before the trial period. No confirmation or invoice came by mail.
On April 18 I received a call from a Kimberly Sweat - spelling? - telling me I must pay the $840 which I declined to do. I am now faced with collection.
