I sold a Barnes & Noble "NOOK" to an Ebay purchaser who claimed afterwards that they were entitled to a charger with the package. They filed a claim with Ebay resolution center claiming that I had misled them with the item. Ebay returned their payment before I could establish that they were making false claims. When the items were returned to me, both the packaging and instructions clearly stated that a charger was an accessory and not included. I attempted on numerous occasions to inform Ebay of their incorrect decision but all attempts were ignored. I even went so far as to locate the Corporate Headquarters and the management was sent a documented email. This was also ignored and they have continually demanded additional compensation for postage and have turned off my access to Ebay.
I have email copies available to substantiate my claims of a wrongful decision. What I find totally distasteful is the fact that communications with a human at Ebay is impossible and no phone / email / postal human contact information is available. They operate behind a wall of impenetrable density and throw messages over that wall without regards to information flow.
