Put deposit on trip to Africa on 8/13. Too early to make plane reservations for trip to take place in Oct. 2013. After we investigated plane reservations to get to Africa we found it to be difficult and expensive for 10 day trip so we decided to cancel trip. We thought canceling 8 plus months in advance we should get our deposit back but the company's policy does not allow a refund.
Do I as a consumer have any recourse on this? Your response to this issue would be kindly appreciated.
