6 months ago E-CarOne sold me a 2010 Lexus assuring me that the car was in "Perfect working condition with a clean title)" they lead you to think you don't need to have the car's looked at because of all the document’s they provide (carfax report, Dealers inspection report, over all car rating report) they gave this car a score that was the highest possible. (No service center is onsite so E-CarOne never physically inspects the vehicles) the information given to customers is base on second hand information.
A month after buying what I thought was a 2010 Lexus ES350 in Excellent condition, driving down a back road I hit a bump on the right drivers side, all the engine lights came on so I took it to Park Place Lexus to have it looked at and was informed and given proof, it had been in a major accident with several thousand dollars worth of damage, I was also informed that the warranty was not going to cover a lot of Major part’s on the vehicle including the electronic panel board that was damaged do to the repairs from the accident.
(E-CarOne paid for the vehicle to be repaired at that time)
“NOW THE REAL NIGHTMARE BEGAIN”
After being given the run around for the past 6 months, first yelled at and hung up on by Rami Rassas, Then driving and meeting with Ozzie, Sam and Paul being assured that I would be taken care of. I was asked what I wanted and my response “ To be put in a car that I though I should have gotten 6 months ago with no money changing hands”!
At that time I also informed them that the vehicle I was in had something wrong with it again, in a location that was apart of the accident and would more then likely not be covered under the warranty that I felt very concerned driving in it. And having something go wrong.
I would have to call almost daily to try and get someone to help me get this situation taken care of. I was told that Ozzie the Finance manager would be working with me. After making an agreement over the phone with Ozzie and paying $150 to have the exchange vehicle inspected and negotiating repairs to the exchange vehicle I was given the run around again for 4 day I was told each day the car would be ready only to receive after Nemours’s calls from me a end of the day call from Ozzie saying not today with another story as to why. On March 28 after yet again being told the car would be ready I got a call from Ozzie saying I got some good news and some bad news “The good news your getting new breaks the bad news the car isn’t going to be ready today”. (The breaks didn’t need to be changed per Park Place Lexus)
At this point I let him know I was not happy with the run around I continued to be getting from E-CarOne He got mad and started yelling at me saying that I wasn’t going to be happy no matter what they did so the deal was off the table that he was calling the bank and canceling the loan and then he hung up on me.
He was right about that because the deal they gave me when I got there was not the agreement we had.
I drove that day to the dealership and ended up meeting with the owner Marc Rami it’s hard to explain this part all I can say is Ozzie proceeded in telling me we never had a deal on the table, that with $1,500 down my new car payment would go from $587 To $678 that was the best they could do with my credit rating when I told him that wasn’t the agreement we had he said he had already warned Mark about the situation. (I took that to mean he isn’t going to help you)! I was right after being called a liar over and over again by Ozzie and again being told I was getting a great deal no one else would give me such a great price for the trade in car.
The deal on the table when I walked out so upset I couldn’t even think of what to do or say is E-CarOne is now treating my situation as a trade in, wanting me to pay them $6000 To get what they should have sold me to begin with (I paid $30,990 they will only buy the car back for $25,000) leaving me upside down since I have only been paying on the car for 4 months they make $6000 for selling me a damaged car and want to make another profit from selling me a replacement car and charging me depreciation for the old car. Saying it’s because the miles so again they drag their feet on getting me out of this car and I have to pay. Now as I try to get what I signed a contract for I can’t help but wonder how many more people they have done this to? Readying the reviews on line they look great when I went to post a negative review on Yelp it got taken down 24 hours ago I posted it again under my daughters account. That’s why I find myself on here hoping that no one else has to be in this position ever again you feel so helpless when dealing with a business that doesn’t stand by their word and misleads consumers that they do.
I am a Widow with two young daughters on a very tight budget I can’t afford to have E-CarOne rip me off. I don’t know anyone who can.
If you chose to do business with E-CarOne before they make this situation right for me then you are allowing a business to take advantage of consumers and possibly one day someone in your family!
