Back in January or February This Co. Called my home advertising their magazines. I thought they were talking about 1 or 2 magazines. They told me to listen to a recording and only say yes at the end of the recording. I didn't fully understand all of what was being said, because the woman was talking extremely fast. I was interested in two of the magazines so I agreed to the tape. Now I received a statement in the mail for a bill of $1,798.50. So far I have not received any magazines from them, reason being that they could not use the credit card I agreed to pay with. I am 80 years old and have no need for the amount of magazines they say I owe for. They said I could not cancel the order because it is past 30 days. I told them that I had forgotten about it. I never got a conformation letter from them. They said that was no excuse and that if I didn't pay, it will be turned over to a collection agency. Can you help me I know that I forget things now since I have gotten older. I am a retired widow living on one check a month, I can hardly pay my Condo Mortgage, Condo fee, utilities and food.
