I purchased a pair of Easy Spirit boots - Esbolder #1003-076-000 9-1/2 D, black easy soft, bar code number 740353075118, a few seasons ago but had only worn them maybe 5 times in the season of purchase. On 3/22 I took out the boots that had been stored in their original box and were in like new condition, when I put on one boot and then reached for the second boot, the heel of the boot I had on had completely crumbled into a mess. I have since contacted Easy Spirit customer relations but they won't do anything since the boots were older than one year and even then would only give coupons for merchandise purchase. I have been out of work for quite a while and can't afford to buy boots every year. This is only one example of what is happening to all synthetic heels/soles. It is obvious that The Jones Group is not interested in upholding their standards as per the quote on their website as follows: "Jones has built a reputation for excellence in product quality and value"
