We spend approximately $5,000 per month on our visa or master cards and I shudder when my wife uses sears canada catalogs. I have no problem with any other establishments with their receipts and statements. It's easy to reconcile the monthly statements with the receipts&but not Sears. On the last statement there is a debit amount of $523.09 transaction date 02/21 but there is no receipt in that amount that I can reconcile because that amount consists of a number of receipts. We spend so much time trying to reconcile the statement, including calls to customer service, that we will probably stop using Sears Catalog.
It's time to take a look at the paperwork system to make it more user friendly. Every other retail outfit we deal with seems to be able to do it. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has problems like I have outlined here.
