The circumstances of the scam I received were identical to those who registered similar complaints about Volvado Watches, except that I was on was on Amazon buying a book when a popup appeared. It said that if I completed a short survey, I would receive a free watch, but would have to pay $5.99 s/h. The survey was painless, my credit card was charged $5.99, and a few days later, my watch arrived, a women's watch that I did not order. Three weeks later a $95 charge showed up on my credit card statement. I contacted Volvado and they said I agreed to buy the watch if I kept it more than 14 days, an agreement I never saw. I immediately called my bank, disputed the claim, and cancelled my card. My bank has initiated a fraud investigation and I am in communication with Amazon. Nothing to report on that front, yet.
