I rented a semi trailer to haul refrigerated freight to and from west coast. I arrived at lacrosse transport refrigeration to pick up the trailer only then to find out the one promised was no longer available! So he provided me with a older unit at which the time of day and I had to load freight that night I had no choice but to rent the unit, the owner himself said the trailer was safe a met dot requirements. He put a inspection sticker on trailer and I gave him 500$ earnest money toward the payment and left. 2 weeks later I was pulled into a Utah state inspection facility, upon inspection they found 4 serious safety problems with unit that I was unaware of (remember it was just inspected prior to renting it) it cost me points on my license and allot of headache because I had to return the trailer and find another which caused me to miss 3600 in work!
Anybody using this business be very cautious the owner has a reputation for being dishonest and shoddy work not to mention he falsified a federal inspection that cost me dearly
