I went onto norton site to sort payment taken from account but no cover on computor and was automatically put through to this guruaid company who kept me on the phone for over 3 hours made me give them access to my computor and all my information and then proceeded to say i would need to join their scheme to get my computor sorted. I wrongly assumed they were connected to norton and allowed access and was persuaded to give them nearly £200 to cover both this and my other computor. They wanted me to pay for 3 years but i said no so then persuaded me to do 1 year. They said it would resolve the problems and they would clean up back up files and errors which they listed. My computor still has the same amount of errors on it and they have my money. Think Norton wrong in being transfered to this company without saying they are not affiliated in any way, and guruaid should make it clear that they are not in any way connected to norton. I have asked for a refund and await to see if this happens. I will not be renewing with norton next year as very upset that they allowed me to be conned.
