A mortgage lending company that required $2,500 deposit. They lead us on for 6 months, leading us to believe they had found some money for us. They were working with Zion bank in Utah. When Zion bank finally said they could not do the loan (after working with them for 6 months), the Howell's only refunded $1,500. All they did was work only with one bank and make a few phone calls & e-mails. There was absolutely no expenses for them. Our contract stated we would be refunded our deposit if they could not find financing for us.
