Someone calling himself James called me after I made an enquirer about a loan, they said that they can provide me with the loan of £3000 over two years which would only cost me £110 in repayment every year for the next 2 years.in order for my application to completed I must pay them £145 either by western union or deposit it into an account at Barclays Bank and they wold return the money back to me along with the complete loan, meaning that I would be getting £3145 payed into my account half an hour after paying this. After paying this money, I received another phone call from another person who claim that he is the finance Director who said that in order for the application to be completed I would need to deposit a further £180 for tax proposes because the money they are lending me is taxable, I asked why were this not pointed out to me in the first place and they try to give me some BS story about the tax situation are different from case to case. They said that they have paid the tax amount and all they wanted me to do was deposit this amount to show the UK government that I am the one that paid the taxed amount and not them and they will return to me in my account all the money including the loan. (They were very convincing). But even though I had my doubt initially I still went ahead and deposited £145 but when they're coming back for another £180 that when I an not paying a dine more unless they can email proof that they actually paid this tax amount first to which they responded with an email which was obvious made up. I told them that I will not part with any more money because this whole thing does not feel right so they said that they could not complete the application and the £145 is none refundable. These people who are based in India are praying on vulnerable people and conning them. These people chased me for four days with phone calls on the hour every hour until I agreed to pay that money. If these people call you to offer loan do DO NOT RESPOND. I read the review of the other person who had similar experience but did not heed the warning please don't make the same mistake.
