My husband and I were told we would receive free round trip airline tickets for attending a presentation on a vacation club. The free offer was bogus - we would have had to pay a number of unknown taxes, surcharges, etc. Plus there were a lot of blackout dates and so many hurdles to jump through! Total misrepresentation of what the company said you would get for sitting through the presentation. So glad that we went to the internet and read about others who could smell a con a mile away - we didn't even send in the $4.95 registration fee!
