When I arrived, I felt decieved by the lack of an on site resturant and the fact that my room had no towels.
I attended a meeting after waking at 3:30 am to begin my travel day and returned to the room after 2:00am. Exhausted I went straight to bed.
Upon waking and visiting the bathroom, I returned to the bed and discovered that the sheets and pillow cases I had slept in were covered in huge stains that looked like dried blood.
Needless to say I was alarmed and horrified and went straight down to find a manager. The manager, a young dark haired woman, was only interested in making her point which was that the room could be changed but not comped. I insisted that she come up to see what I woke up to that morning. I informed her that I would be gone for an hour to breakfast and expected a report from her and a clean room.
When I returned, nothing had been done nor had she been to the room or informed the head of housekeeping.
I contacted the head of housekeeping who came right away. He could not believe his eyes. He had it taken care of straight away and was very apologetic.
Talk about a wake up call!
