Rented a storage unit at a local family owned facility. Needles to say the family owned business is in business to acquire your belongings. I had my belongings in the 2 storage sheds. After two months finding that my payments had failed processing. I tried to make payment arrangements with the facility and was told I had to have the full amount and my belonging were being auction off. After scrambling to come up with the $1300.00 that had posted to the account in late fees inventory fees which is not allowed I called told them we had the money and would have it paid before 10am. Tried calling in a card number no one answered. Icy morning traveling the roads we arrive at the place 10:03 and the complete auction was done. The auctioneer bought everything took to his place in Jefferson 14 Wall st and place for another auction. My grandchildren belongings and personal items gone. I offer to buy everything on the spot for $1500.00 and was refused. I recommend before renting any unit make sure the family does not own an auction house. Your precious memories could be gone in less than 4 months.
