2 years ago I fell for it and paid the $360.00 when they sent me a "pink" slip saying that they were going to turn me over to collections... Not this time!

I got an invoice in the mail on Tues, 2/12 for $360.00 for 10 different magazines with varying amounts of terms. It says "Thank you for your recent order" It also says "cancellation period for your order is 14 days from order date" which is already passed by the time you read it.

I remember getting a phone call two months ago when they asked me to renew, and I said I don't do anything like that over the phone. I asked the woman to send something in the mail that I could look at.

In the mean time, I picked up the phone about 3 weeks ago and reordered People and some of the other magazines that we keep in the waiting area for the guests in our salon.

When she called I told her that I did not order anything, and asked her how their company could put fraudulent bills through the US Mail? She just yelled at me and told me I was rude (I wasn't that nice on the phone because I am so tired of being pestered by people trying to sell me things over the phone)
End result, I hung up on her, and I am filing a complaint with the BBB in Texas. It is ridiculous what people think they can get away with!
