Beware... This person sent me a letter via the postal service, stating that I owed a debt for a Payday Loan, under my husbands last name. I have never had a payday loan with this name, and my husbands last name isn't even mine. She said this was taken out in 2012. I haven't had a checking account since 2007. Also the letter she sent was from 7804 Fariview Rd Suite 285, Charlotte, NC 28226, but on her website pdlrecoveryservices dot org, her mailing address is 7801 Fariview Rd Suite 285, Charlotte, NC 28226. Let me state that the orginal address on her letter is a local UPS/Coffee Store. The address on her website is an intersection of a road close to the address on the letter. Also the letter, though it says it's coming from NC, actually was post marked in Buffalo NY.
I called the 888 Number just to get a voicemail. I also looked up the phone number for the company and found some other complaints via the net. When I called the number, the "mrs edwards" answered by saying hello this is Mrs Edwards how may I help you? When I asked who they were she never answered me, instead asked for a case number which I gave her. When she began her long bogus spill, I asked to speak to the lady that had infact issued the letter, and was told she wasn't available. After talking to Mrs Edwards, and being called an idiot by her, she transferred me to a "senior" account advisor named David West. When I told him that I KNEW this was a bogus scam, and that I had reported him and the company to IC3, BBB, Attorney Generals Office, he just laughed and threw out a couple more names that I should add to my list of reports. They are required by law to provide you with an ORIGINAL copy of the ORIGINAL debt, Name of ORIGINAL CREDITOR, Phone Number of ORIGINAL CREDITOR, and Address of ORIGINAL Creditor. Which they did not and would not.instead I was "DEMANDED" to conduct all contact through them, even states so on the letter they sent me via united states postal service, which again was addressed from Charlotte, NC but post marked in Buffalo NY. All I have to say to this is LOL! The address as stated above is a UPS store/coffee shop. The one on the website is an intersection close to the businesses there. The Numbers I have for these people are 704-412-5676, the Letter had an 888 Number that goes to voicemail lol which is 888-365-7001 and fax number of 614-510-6317.
