I filled out a survey on Amazon.com and was offered a free watch from MNCWatch.com—I just had to pay shipping. Well, 14 days later my account was billed for $98 for this so called free watch. It was an Omax watch (might be a fake Omax) which is supposed to be great quality but I didn't want to pay $103.95 for it.
I went top their webiste and the under the Terms and Conditions I had a 14 days to dispute the watch and cancel payment for it. I was also supposed to be enrolled in the watch of the month club but i put a stop to that by canceling my debit card and getting a new one issued. I did call them to cancel as well.
The watch does not work to begin with and I don't know if I am supposed to install a battery for it as there were no instructions ikn the box with the watch. It does say there is a 1 year warranty on the watch on their website. I called to inform them that my watch has not worked from day one and they told me they will send me a new watch. I told them I didn't want to be billed for a new watch and they said I wouldn't be but they won't be able to anyways since i canceled the debit card used to pay for the original watch. I am going to try and contact the Omax watch company and see if this one of thei actual models and to inform them of MNCWatch's deceptive trade practices and how it is damaging the reputation of their watches. MNCWatch are you watching this? Just give me my money back and I'll shut the hell up and you can have your stupid watch back—just send me 5.95 for shipping and your credit card information.
