A young girl who said she was a ucla student raising money for a school trip by selling magazine subscriptions which would be sent to wounded warriors and half of the proceeds would go to the student's project. I should have known when she would only take cash or check. We purchased 2- 4 year subscriptions.
We gave her $ 50 in cash and a check for
$ 77. She told us she lived with her grandpa who lived on our block. We later found out there was no such person.
