A year ago my client, Oakwood Baptist Church, Inc. Of Chattanooga, TN began receiving collection 'notices' regarding an alleged account with Local Yellow Pages which account was questionable at best. I responded to the 'notices' each time one was received denying that the account was incorrect and requesting the I be provided copies of all documents upon which the indebtedness was based. My requests were never complied with. Finally last week a 'final notice' was received offerinf to settle the account originally claimed as $812.98 for $298.99. An internet search revealed that Scambook has had multiple complaints about CCRECOVERY and its co-conspirator, Yellow Local Directory.
In spite of my repeated requests that all correspondence regarding the matter be sent to me rather than my client, Lois C. Lamkford, alledgedly the company's"COLLECTION AGENT" never complied with my requests.
