Consumer Report

Made a verbal agreement to purchase a vehicle on 11/10 for $4,200.00 at Pepper address. I gave them a deposit of $1,000.00 and agreed to pay $1,000.00 when I picked up the car. Whic I did. A total of $2,000.00The remainder would be paid when LVMORTZ found another car for my friend. On 11/15 I was brought to a location near Pecos and Charleston which was (supposedly their new location) where I was cohersed into signing a completely different contract then the original deal discussed with payments of $300.00 a month with 60% interest with the explanation that it was just a formality and that the original deal was still in place. When the car was presented to me the middle seats of the minivan were missing, but explained to me that they had them and would get them to me shortly. After arriving home and looking at the contract I found things had been crossed out and changed after I signed. For two months I called and tried to get answers concerning both the green slip for registration (which was never given me as well as my seats. I either got no answer or various people gave me nothing but double talk. I went to the pepper address and found it locked and vacated. Finally on the 5th try a note on the door indicating they were at the Pepper address. Driving there I found a worker who claimed he knew nothing of my situation and that the principals were on vacation and he would have them call me. They never did. I wrote letters via US mail as well as certified mail only to have them returned. They lied about the number of owners as well as the year of the car and various other things concerning the car. Then on the 18th they followed me and repoed the car. When going to retreive my belongings they tried to tell me they sold the car to the bank then after threatening them with police action they produced my stuff and said that they had never intended to purchase the second car because we were complaining I then received a letter telling me I could have the car if I paid $3,607.43 plus $700 repo charge for a total of $4,307.00 They wanted $700 for 2 people driving up and one of them unlocking my car with their key and driving off. I am a 71 year old grandmother who works as a nanny/baby sitter and need to transport children and without the seats it was impossible. I now am left without my $2,000.00 and without the possiblity of working.
