In the first week of September Baltimore County, Maryland Purchased the apartment complex in which I live. Everyone was given a notice that stated that everyone has to be off the premises (due to the planned demolishion of the complex) by December 31.
By the way I am Disabled as well as many of the other residents still residing here at Kingsley Park Apartments.
Since then I have complained several times to them in regard to the high incidence of drug dealers, shootings, agravated assaults right across from my apartment, by the tenants that live directly in front of my apartment.
"Blanch Martin" which works out of the office here on the property at, "Kingsley Park Apts" located at 1630 dartford road, Essex, Maryland 21221 is the person that Baltimore County put in charge of the property.
What baltimore County did in retaliation to my recurring complaints was to harrass me, illegally breaking and entering my apartment on several occasions, attempting to illegally evict me when I was not at home, intimidation tactics, invasion tactics and illegally turning off my utilities in this cold weather to otherwise force me to leave and be homeless.
I called up the Baltimore Housing Office and spoke to Vick Wolak, the woman in charge of "Kingsley Park Apartments" and asked her why she sent a private contractor to me apartment to have all of my utilities turned off?
Her reply was, she had no idea what I was talking about. Then I told her "you know you can't do that, Its illegal what you are doing" and her response was cold and calculating. What she said was "you have been given notice that you have to move out, why didn't you move out yet?"
I told her again as I had at the begining of our conversation that I could not find a place that I could afford or that would accept my application due to the fact that I do not have any credit established.
She acted as if I said nothing and said "You have had plenty of time to move out!". Then she said "its not that cold" dismissively as though implying I was an animal or something, otherwise implying that their illegal tacticts were in order even though the notice they gave me says I have until December 31.
I then told her " Just in case you didn't know, the temperature of human beings is 98.6 degrees and it was 38 degrees last night. I couldn't fall asleep because I was freezing." Then she told me to tell "Blanch Martin" at the office where I live and I told her when I tried to talk to "Blanch Martin" she ignored me as if I were not even There. Then "Vicky Wolak" became very agressive with me and rude and said "I dont believe that, I have worked with her for 15 years" and put me on hold. When she came back on the line she said she spoke to her friend "Blanch Martin" at the apartment complex, and said that she (Blanch) told her that she told me "Towson" Had my utilities turned off. I told her "Is she senile or something bcause that is a lie she did not say that to me" Vicky became very angry and said "That wasnt vey nice" and then said "I am going to end this call and hung up on me without trying to resolve the problem, if anything she made every effort to give me a hard time and do everything in her power NOT TO HELP if she had anything to do with it.
To make matters worse they (Baltimore County) did not turn off all the remaining residents utilities off that are still residing there, only the select individuals that they designated or in their eyes were a problem, which did include the drug dealers as well.
Even though I am not at all happy about the illegal activity that still doesnt make what they did to the others write either. They dont seem to care if someone dies, they just want us out and off of the property.
