I have paid for a rider on my engagement ring/wedding band for many years. On or about 10/23, both rings could not be located. I recalled that it was trash day and I was cleaning both rings and placed them on a tissue. I further recalled it was likely, while cleaning the bathroom recepticles, I may have thrown away the tissue that contained my rings by accident. I called ABC Disposal frantically all week without success. I reported the loss t my agent, Coyne Insurance, and received a return call that stated "your rings did not have an updated appraisel". I later received a letter from Commerce indicating I did not have a valid rider active rider/policy, something I totally deny as it cost only $155.00 to my homeowners. I have not yet filed a civil suit and have requested for my payment records as a consumer only. I have not received my payment records and was told I need to have them summonsed.
