Definitely a scam. I was suspicious due to how quickly they responded after I initially applied and how easy it was to get an "interview". When I tried to research the company, I came up empty except for their own website and complaints on this page. Upon calling the management of the shopping center housing their D.C. Mailing address, I discovered that no one there had heard of Vivid Event Design. I also called Vivid's toll-free number. No one answered, and I never got a response to the message I left. An email to their supposed HR rep asking for more info about the company also got no response. I was supposed to be contacted for a phone interview today, but no one called. Presumably they've decided it's not worth trying to wheedle money out of me. Don't waste your time on this company, and certainly don't give them money or sensitive info (SSN, credit card #) for any reason.
