On October 17, I called Safe Home Security because my battery on the system died and though plugged in to an electrical outlet, there was no life to the system, meaning no monitoring. I spoe to Debbie, whivh got very rude with me because I told her that I was not going to pay $50.00 for the battery. When I asked to get a fax number or address to send my cancellation notification due to unhappy service, she hunged up on me. I called back and spoke to Ken, a manager, and after being mocked for telling him that Debbie was rude and hung up on me, he finally saw that I was very unhappy so he offered to get the battery installed free of charge on October 23 through a service tech. I was told that it would happen between the hours of 1 and 5. So, I waited on October 23 from 12:30 until 5:30 and no battery, no service tech, and definitely no phone call as to no one coming to do what was promised to me. I sent a certified letter of my cancellation in which came back as undeliverable and filed a BBB complaint. They charged my account for a battery that I never received and according to Safe Home, I was left several messages, that I only have 4 recorded. I was a faithful customer paying every month without delay, which came out of my bank account for a year, and they couldn't simply admit to their mistakes and get the problem fixed. I can not due business with such an irresponsible company.
