I received a letter from Morgan, Phelps & Stern stating that I won $2,997, 500. I signed the Release document and sent them $20.00 which was promptly cashed. Since then, I have received five letters with deadlines to send more money and sign other forms. I just searched online and realize it is a scam.
Coincidentally, I also received four letters from Northrup, Winslow & Partners stating that I won their sweepstakes, too and asking for $20.00. Return address is in East Northport, NY 11731.
Both companies are scam artists. These are very awful people. Is there a way that we can file a class action suit against these companies?
