I received a check for $3,980.00 with a letter telling me that I won a International Shoppers Lotto Powerball. Please call to claim the rest of your prize. When I called, 1-289-892-2581, it appeared to be non-working. I wanted to see if they were going to tell me the same thing as the other complaint on this company. The letter indicates that the check is for covering taxes on winnings but this is absurd. It was clear that this is another form of a scam. This company appears to be legitimate in CA—someone needs to shut down companies such as this one. Please be aware of these types of scams.
