I am so relieved to have found such an informative website. I was almost lured into the scam by PMG Mentors (also known by other names) and they were trying to get me to charge over $11,000 dollars on my credit card. UNBELIEVABLE! Everything I read on your website and posts by other members was exactly how it was pitched to me.
The BBB wasnt very helpful (they are under Energy Professional Marketing Group) because they are not registered BBB members so it was a "Reliability Report". They did have some complaints but I wasnt able to get any information on the nature of these complaints. It simply says they were resolved. BBB was not very helpful
The pitch is so believable and its really easy to get caught up in the hype. After spending almost an hour and a half on the phone with a "manager" named Sam Hall (of course he gave me his personal number and extension) I was selected to join their program. I guess that means I have enough credit on my credit cards. They get very personal with you and ask many many questions. They also make sure your spouse or significant other is on the phone. I had asked to speak with one of these success stories and was told that we meet them at the seminars.
They consistently refer towards Robert Allen and his success, but I really question if they are even affiliated with him. There is just so much hype on how dedicated you must be and the concept of Other Peoples Money. I kept asking how am I using OPM if they are trying to charge MY CREDIT CARDS. It just didnt make sese to me. I suppose if they would have gotten me for over $11,000 dollars like they tried (The Aggressive Protege Program is what its called) it probably would have been a new record!
I asked for one day to think about it which didnt go over too well. He wanted me to "register" and I have 3 days to cancel and nothing will be charged. I said I will not give my credit card info unless Im commiting to this. Finally I was able to hang up without giving any information but Im supposed to call within a day. These people are very good at what they do and are very friendly. Im sure this would all change once they had my money.
All I can say is THANK GOODNESS for your site. Im happily donating to your cause and keep up the good work.
