I live in Houston 77064 and this water company consistently costs me $243 a month. This is more than my electricity (on average $93 a month). I am renting a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath (1390 sq ft) home on a 3,570 sq ft lot. I have a total of 4 people in the house and have water regulators on all faucets (provided by school). I know we bathe every night and sometimes every other night (depending on what is going on) and we wash clothes once a week (on sundays). How is it humanly possible that I have 2 less people in my household and my bill is still the same? How is it humanly possible that the previous house I rented (in a mud district) I paid on average $55 a month? This neighborhood has a huge, disgusting lake and no swimming pool. I have tried to understand why my rates are so high and I can't seem to figure it out. This company SUCKS!!! They consistently overcharge, customer service is HORRIBLE. I can't seem to move FAST ENOUGH to get out from under this RIDICULOUS monthly expense. This makes absolutely NO SENSE to me. I know people in the same neighborhood that have a larger house, lot, and more people in their household and they are paying slightly higher than me (still RIDICULOUS rates). I'm disgusted with this company and HATE I ever moved here.
