I received a bill from this company for a telephone call reportedly placed on 10-25.
Like other reports here it was also for 6 minutes and $30.00. The call was also reportedly placed to the united Kingdom #44 207 335 84. I requested to know what website it was and "George" replied that it was "live web cams". I also requested information about how to recognize and delete the dialing software that would have been placed on my computer but I have not received a reply.
From reading the other reports here I believe this is a suspicious pattern and that a fraudulent billing transaction is being perpetrated on many computer owners. I read one report that claims this is a trojan horse that loads itself on the computer without the owners knowledge or consent.
I intend to report this to every agency that will listen to me beginning with the USPS and FCC. I am also going to contact the U.S. Attorney's office in Ft. Worth to see if this violates Federal Statutes.
