I have filed my taxes through taxlap.com which is an Indian company. Like me many people in the US have filed tax returns by this company. I never confirmed them to process my taxes but they went ahead and filed my tax returns and I got the returns in my Bank account. I just asked to send me the REFUND QUOTE. But they went ahead and filed my taxes. It happened to 6 of my friends and 4 of my friends didn't even get their refund.indeed, their tax returns went to some other's bank accounts. Their customer service phone number is not working since past one week and when I emailed them about this situation they are threatening me that I need to pay them for their service or else they will file a case against me with IRS, Credit bureau and issue me a Red Corner Notice with Indian police. I simply replied them that I never confirmed you to go ahead and process my taxes. So I'm going ahead and lodging a complaint against your company today and I have really decided to lodge an official complaint with IRS about this fraud company... Guys, please be careful while applying for Tax returns. Thanks...
