We bought a new mattress from Sit-n-Sleep in October along with a 20 year warranty and paid $1900.
In August we realized that we are both having back pain and our mattress is severely sagged. We had home inspection which was showing that our mattress is clean, doesnt have ANY spots and has 2 inches sagging (this is without us lying on the bed). We received a letter from Sit-n-Sleep stating that we have been authorized for replacement of our mattress. We went to a Brea store and selected a mattress. We were willing to pay the difference in price - almost 2 thousand more to get good a quality mattress.
On the delivery date in September, the delivery team came late at 8:30pm (4 hours later than scheduled). They quickly looked at our mattress, carried it into their truck and brought a new mattress. The new mattress was 4 inches shorter
than our bed (and shorter than our old mattress). We decided to reject that mattress and the delivery team brought back our old one.
As you can see, at that time our old mattress was good enough to be replaced if we accepted the incorrect one.
After that, we had 3 deliveries and every time they were noticing small spot or discolorations which were almost impossible to see. They refused to take our defective mattress back due to a health hazard (thats what they stated). I am sure we got that spot when the first delivery team did not handle our mattress professionally (or not properly) by taking our mattress to their truck without placing it into a plastic cover and without any gloves. We had a professional
cleaning of that spot 2 times from the warranty company, but they still see imaginary spots.
Every time after a visit from the Sit-n-Sleeps delivery team we felt humiliated and very upset. The mattress was inspected as if we are lepers. And we are still very upset and decided to NEVER BUY a mattress from Sit-n-Sleep again. We are going to tell all our family and friends about our experience. No wonder Sit-n-Sleep is having less and less people in their stores now.
Sit-n-Sleep CAN NOT BE TRUSTED. They are selling low quality and defective products just to get your money. They are misleading customers with the 20 year warranty. Dont believe them! You dont have any warranty when you buy from Sit-n-Sleep! They will make sure to find something on your mattress in order not to replace it under the warranty.
