Received a pair of mismatched earrings. One was smaller than the other. Returned for refund and was informed that their appraisal of the item found it to be... As described... (in) Good condition, so there would be a restocking fee equal to $34.00. Their take was that they made no claim that the earrings would be the same size so I had no legitimate reason to return them. I guess they feel someone else will buy them and not notice or care about the discrepency. I guess it dosen't really matter because they'll always make the restocking fee when the item is returned. I spent a lot of money here, but I will not be spending any more.
Their guarantee is: All Bidz.com merchandise is guaranteed to be as described. They did not say they were matching earrings. They did not say they were mismatched earrings. However they did say they were diamond earrings. My satisfaction is not their concern. If the product I returned was in good condition then they shoud be able to resell it without any problem, so why would they need to charge me a restocking fee? Bad business practice, abysmal customer service. Do not bid more than 10% of any Close Now Price. It's only a ploy to generate bidding.
