On November 1st 2012 we placed a deposit to purchase and have installed a Harman Oakwood Woodstove from Stoves & Stuff in Emmaus.initialy we were told the install would be by December 1st due to back log. The pre inspection was scheduled by the installer for November 27th. All measurements were taken and inspection done to give information to the store for install needs.installer measurements abnd notes matched all previous information we provided.install was scheduled for 1 pm December 13th. The installer arrived 3 hours late and the store did not provide all necessary stove pipe. Also the stove was 1 1/4 to high and install into fireplace would not work.installer suggested drilling into chimney for proper install and draft.install was to be done on December 15th. Stoves & Stuff delayed that install as well as a Hearth Pad would be needed for R-factor requirements. A Hearth Pad was ordered for Next Day Air delivery as we were promised install would be complete before the Christmas holiday.installer was to schedule for Friday December 21st. No installation occurred as promised. The store is not very service friendly and could not meet their promises nor did they actually do their needed diligence to check install requirements further delaying. We have now opted not to go with this store due to their lack of service delivery. We now are without a stove and paying for the electric heat bill we had planned to reduce or elimate all together with the install of the wood stove. We also purchased many items to prepare for the stove as well as cutting/splitting and stacking seasoned firewood. I am very frustrated and displease with this store and now have to begin a search all over again. This heating season is now a loss for us due to their lack of prep and research. The installer and my meaurements and descriptions matched and can not understand how they do not read the preinspection reports they require customers to pay for.
