In I signed an agreement with Oppidan Developers to enter into a lease to open a new coffee shop. The agreement included monies that would be loaned to us throughout the project. According to the lease, if we successfully had the building completed, Oppidan would give us a check for 34,000 to complete the project. We successfully completed the project. When we asked Oppidan for the final payment, they refused and in exchange said they would pay us 2,000.
After two months of talking to Paul Tucci, spokesman for Oppidan Developers, the decision did not change. We were forced to send a note to leave the building.in doing so, we had did everything legally that was to be done but Oppidan broke their lease agreement not once but over four times. We have four years left to sue Oppidan but the monies we lost included more than the 34,000.
